Preface to the 2026/5786 Edition

Preface to the 2026/5786 Edition

This Pesach is closer to a normal Pesach, without many of the added complications of recent years. This year, we do need to keep in mind that an eruv tavshilin must be made on Erev Pesach so that we can cook on Yom Tov for Shabbos. Instructions have been added to Chapter 10, taken from last year’s edition, which included eruv tavshilin for the last days of Pesach. I have also added a few footnotes.

I sincerely hope this book provides relief to readers who might otherwise feel overwhelmed in their holiday preparations, allowing them to celebrate a rich and joyful Pesach.
